  • Recommendation:

    That South Huron Council approves the Agenda as presented.

  • Recommendation:

    That South Huron Council adopts the minutes of the Regular Council Meeting of September 7 2021, as printed and circulated.

  • Recommendation:

    That the minutes of the following committees and/or boards be received as presented to Council:

    • Grand Bend and Area Joint Sewage Board May 27, 2021 meeting minutes; and
    • Police Services Board July 13, 2021 meeting minutes
  • Recommendation:

    That South Huron Council receives the report from Stacey Jeffery, Strategic Initiatives Officer titled Single-Use Plastics and Related Item Reduction Policy; and

    That South Huron Council approves the Single-Use Plastics and Related Item Reduction Policy, as presented; and

    That the necessary By-law be forwarded to Council for the required three readings.

  • Recommendation:

    That South Huron Council accepts the report from Scott Currie, Manager of Communications and Strategic Initiatives, titled “Municipal Modernization Program - Intake III Grant Application” for information, and

    That a funding application be submitted in support of the South Huron Modernization Strategy.

  • Recommendation:

    That South Huron Council receives the report from Don Giberson, Director of Infrastructure and Development and Shane Timmermans, Manager of Transportation Services Re: Traffic Calming Policy; and,

    That South Huron Council adopts the Traffic Calming Policy as presented; and

    That the necessary By-law be forwarded to Council for the required three readings.

  • Recommendation:

    That South Huron Council receives the report from Sandy Becker, Director of Financial Services/Treasurer, and Julia Roberts, Deputy Treasurer re: Annual Investment Report for information only.

  • Recommendation:

    That South Huron Council receives the report from J. Roberts, Deputy Treasurer and S. Becker, Director of Financial Services/Treasurer re: 2021 Capital Progress Report August 2021 for information.

  • Recommendation:

    That South Huron Council receives the report of Rebekah Msuya-Collison, Director of Legislative Services and Alex Wolfe, Deputy Clerk titled Exeter Public Cemetery Master Plan – Summary of Recommendations and Next Steps; and

    That Council validate and approve the Exeter Public Cemetery Master Plan High-level Implementation Plan as outlined in Appendix 1 of this report, as presented.

  • Recommendation:

    That South Huron Council receives the memo of R. Msuya-Collison, Director of Legislative Services titled “Consent Application C11-2021 (Kester/Everatt) - Drain Apportionment"; and

    That South Huron Council approve the agreement on the apportioned assessments under Section 65(2) of the Drainage Act as presented.

3rd and final

  • Recommendation:

    That the South Huron Council gives third and final reading to By-Law #39-2021, being a by-law to amend By-Law #69-2018, being the Zoning By-Law for the Municipality of South Huron for lands known as Lot 6 and Part Lot 7, Concession 2, Stephen Ward, Municipality of South Huron.

  • Recommendation:

    That the South Huron Council gives first, second and third and final reading to By-Law #68-2021, being a By-law to authorize the execution of a Site Plan Agreement between the Corporation of the Municipality of South Huron and Drayton Theatres Inc. in the Municipality of South Huron in the County of Huron.

  • Recommendation:

    That the South Huron Council gives first, second and third and final reading to By-Law #69-2021, being a by-law to confirm matters addressed at the September 20, 2021 Council meeting.

  • Recommendation:

    That South Huron Council hereby adjourns at ______ p.m., to meet again on October 4, 2021 at 6:00 p.m. or at the Call of the Chair.
