• Recommendation:

  That South Huron Council receives the report from C. Metzger, Senior Planner re Plan of Subdivision File 40T22002; and

  That South Huron Council recommend to the County of Huron, the approval of Subdivision 40T22002; and

  That no further public notice for the Zoning By-Law amendment Z01-2022 is required pursuant to Section 34(17) of the Planning Act.

• Recommendation:

• Recommendation:

  That South Huron Council receives the report from M.McBride, Deputy Treasurer and S. Becker, General Manager of Financial Services/Treasurer re: 2022 Capital Progress Report - April 2022 for information.

Alex Wolfe, Deputy Clerk - Special Event Application – Friedsburg Days 2022

• Recommendation:

  That South Huron Council receives the report of Alex Wolfe, Deputy Clerk re Special Event Application – Friedsburg Days 2022; and

  That South Huron Council approve the Special Event Permit– Friedsburg Days 2022 in principle; and

  That South Huron Council authorize the road closure request of Centre Street from Highway 83, south to the Dashwood Baseball Diamond on July 30, 2022 from 10 a.m. through 1 p.m. and the closure of Boston Street all day on July 30th; and

  That South Huron Council approves an exemption to Noise By-law 36-2004 from 11 p.m. on July 30^th through to 1 a.m. on July 31^st; and

  That Municipal staff provide assistance with the Municipal resources as outlined in the Committee’s April 21, 2022 request letter; and

  That South Huron Council declares the 2022 Friedsburg Days event to be Municipally Significant.

9.4.4

D. Best, Chief Administrative Officer/Deputy Clerk - Exeter Cemetery Project Update 

Budget Amendment*

• Recommendation:

  That the memo of D. Best, Chief Administrative Officer dated May 16, 2022 regarding the Exeter Cemetery Update Project Update 2 be received; and

  That Council authorizes a budget amendment to the 2022 Budget to include a capital project for the Exeter Cemetery Fence Project; and

  That funding for Phase One of the Exeter Cemetery Fence Project (broadly described as the section parallel to County Road #83) will be an estimated cost of of $117,690.47; and

  That the project will be funded by the Exeter and District Heritage Foundation at no cost to the Municipality of South Huron.

D. Best, Chief Administrative Officer/Deputy Clerk - Stephen Arena Dasherboard System Tender Results

• Recommendation:

  That the memo of D. Best, Chief Administrative Officer dated May 16, 2022 regarding the Request for Tender (RFT) results for the Stephen Arena Floor Replacement be received; and

  That South Huron Council accept the tender received from Athletica Sport Systems Inc. and authorize the award of contract in the amount of $450,736.00 (HST included)

• Recommendation:

  That the South Huron Council gives first, second and third and final reading to By-Law #34-2022, being a By-law to amend By-Law # 69-2018 of the Municipality of South Huron for lands described as Part Lot 1090, Plan 376, Exeter Ward, Municipality of South Huron.
