Welcome Council Elect and guests, thank Choir, note Council members will now be sworn in by Clerk. 

Oath of Office - Sworn in by Rebekah Msuya-Collison, Clerk 

Start with Council members, Deputy Mayor, Mayor, after oath each member takes their seat at the Council table. Read appointment to County Council for Mayor and Deputy Mayor.

Presentation of Chain of Office/Gavel by Dan Best, Chief Administrative Officer

Present chain of office and gavel, congratulate Council and formally introduce each member by name, title.

Inaugural Address by Mayor 

Mayor invites comments from each member of Council, followed by his inaugural address.

• Recommendation:

  That the South Huron Council gives first, second and third and final reading to By-Law #98-2018, being a by-law to amend By-Law #74-2018, a by-law to appoint an Acting Fire Chief, Jeff Musser.
