Welcome, O Canada & Land Acknowledgment

  • Recommendation:

    That South Huron Council approves the Agenda as presented.

  • Recommendation:

    That the minutes of the following committees and/or boards be received as presented to Council:

    • Police Services Board - June 14, 2022 Minutes and Monthly Report; and
    • Committee of the Whole - September 12, 2022 Minutes
  • Recommendation:

    That South Huron Council receives the report from Mike Rolph, Chief Building Official re: Tiny Home Show as information.

  • Recommendation:

    That Council receives the report of Jeremy Becker, General Manager of Community & Emergency Services regarding a Next Generation 911 Service Agreement; and

    That the necessary by-law be drafted and presented to Council for the required three readings.

  • Recommendation:

    That South Huron Council receives the report from Maggie Delbridge, Deputy Treasurer re: 2022 Capital Progress Report - August 2022 for information.

  • Recommendation:

    That South Huron Council receive the memo of Rebekah Msuya-Collison, General Manager of Corporate Services and Alex Wolfe, Deputy Clerk re: “Procedural By-Law Revisions”; and

    That Council approve the additional revisions to By-Law 79-2015, as presented; and

    That the required By-Law be forwarded to Council for the required three readings.

  • Recommendation:

    That South Huron Council receives the report re Appoint Drainage Engineer under Section 78(5) of the Drainage Act for the Pickering Municipal Drain; and

    That South Huron Council hereby appoints William J. Dietrich, P. Eng., of Dietrich Engineering Ltd. as the Municipal Engineer to prepare a report for the repair and improvement of the Pickering Municipal Drain.

  • Recommendation:

    That South Huron Council receives the Engineer's Report dated May 31, 2022 for the Pickering Municipal Drain, as prepared by Mr. William J. Dietrich, P. Eng.

3rd and Final Reading

  • Recommendation:

    That the South Huron Council gives third and final reading to By-Law #31-2022, being a By-law to authorize a Franchise Agreement between the Corporation of the Municipality of South Huron and Enbridge Gas Inc.

  • Recommendation:

    That the South Huron Council gives first, second and third and final reading to By-Law #60-2022, being a by-law to amend By-Law #69-2018 of the Municipality of South Huron for lands described as Part Lots 182 and 183 of Plan 376 and Parts 1 and 3 of RP 22R5765, Exeter Ward, Municipality of South Huron.

Memo to By-Law

  • Recommendation:

    That the South Huron Council gives first, second and third and final reading to By-Law #61-2022, being a By-law to authorize an Ontario Transfer Payment Agreement with the Her Majesty the Queen in the right of Ontario for funding under Reconnect Ontario 2022.

1st and 2nd reading

  • Recommendation:

    That the South Huron Council gives first and second reading to By-Law #62-2022, being a By-law to provide for the Pickering Municipal Drain 2022 in the Municipality of South Huron.

  • Recommendation:

    That the South Huron Council gives first, second and third and final reading to By-Law #63-2022, being a by-law to confirm matters addressed at the September 20, 2022 Council meeting.

  • Recommendation:

    That South Huron Council hereby adjourns at ______ p.m., to meet again on October 3, 2022 at 6:00 p.m. or at the Call of the Chair.
