2026 Budget Impacts and Priorities

5.1.1

Tax Levy Revenue based on Growth

• Recommendation:

  That South Huron Council receives Staff Memo FIN-03-2025 - Actual Assessment Growth for 2026 Taxation for information. 

5.2

Carryforward Projects

• Recommendation:

  That South Huron Council receives Staff Report FIN-24-2025 2025 Carry Forwards Projects; and
  That South Huron Council approves the list of additional 2025 approved projects (Table A) be carried forward to the 2026 fiscal year for completion; and
  That the 2026 Proposed Budget is amended so that the balance of the 2025 budget allowances for each of the respective projects be included in the 2026 Proposed Budget.
