  • Recommendation:

    That South Huron Council approves the Agenda as amended.

  • Recommendation:

    That South Huron Council receives the delegation as presented from the Exeter and District Heritage Foundation as presented by Bruce Shaw, Bob Heywood and Joanne Bowen.

  • Recommendation:

    That the minutes of the following committees and/or boards be received as presented to Council:

     

    • Kirkton-Woodham Pool Committee - January 26, 2022 Minutes 
    • Police Services Board - March 8, 2022 Minutes and Reports 
    • Exeter Business Association (BIA) - March 14, 2022 Minutes
  • Recommendation:

    That South Huron Council receives the report of Vanessa Culbert, Planning Coordinator re: 1st Quarter Planning Summary Report for information purposes.

  • Recommendation:

    That South Huron Council receives the report from Mike Rolph, Chief Building Official regarding Q1 Building Activity Report.

  • Recommendation:

    That Council receives the report of Jeremy Becker, General Manager of Community & Emergency Services regarding Q1 Fire Department Responses for information.

  • Recommendation:

    That South Huron Council receives report from Julia Roberts, Deputy Treasurer, and Sandy Becker, General Manager of Financial Services/Treasurer re: 2022 Council expenses as of March 31, 2022 for information.

  • Recommendation:

    That South Huron Council receives the report from Julia Roberts, Deputy Treasurer and Sandy Becker, General Manager of Financial Services/Treasurer re: 2022 Capital Progress Report - March 2022 for information.

  • Recommendation:

    That South Huron Council receives the report from Julia Roberts Deputy Treasurer and Sandy Becker General Manager of Financial Services/Treasurer re: 2022 First Quarter Operating Variance Report for information.

  • Recommendation:

    That South Huron Council receives the report of Katie Trebble, Administrative Assistant and Rebekah Msuya-Collison, General Manager of Corporate Services re: Request for Services, Complaints and By-Law Infractions – 2022 1st Quarter Report and Summary Report for information purposes.

  • Recommendation:

    That the memo of D. Best, Chief Administrative Officer dated April 19, 2022 regarding the Request for Tender (RFT) results for the Stephen Arena Floor Replacement be received; and

    That South Huron Council accept the tender received from DiCocco Contractors 2015 Inc and authorize the award of contract in the amount of $943,064.10 (HST included).

  • Recommendation:

    That the memo of D. Best, Chief Administrative Officer dated April 19, 2022 regarding Bill 109, More Homes for Everyone Act, 2022 Update #2 be received; and

    THAT the Municipality of South Huron submits a letter to the Minister of Municipal Affairs and Housing and ERO outlining the comments regarding Bill 109, More Homes for Everyone Act, 2022, and

    That the Municipalityof South Huron:

    Supports the proposed Community Infrastructure and Housing Accelerator Tool subject to further consultation;

    Supports the proposed amendments to Site Plan Control and Section 41 of the Planning Act;

    Supports the proposed amendment related to Subdivision reinstatements;

    Supports the proposed changes related Growth-Related Funding tools;

    Opposes the proposed changes related to Official Plan Amendment and Approvals;

    Opposes the proposed framework for refunding of Application Fees; and

    Opposes the proposed amendments to Subdivision Approvals.

  • Recommendation:

    That South Huron Council receive communication items not otherwise dealt with.

  • Recommendation:

    That the South Huron Council gives first, second and third and final reading to By-Law #24-2022, being a By-law to appoint a Deputy Treasurer for the Municipality of South Huron.

  • Recommendation:

    That the South Huron Council gives first, second and third and final reading to By-Law #25-2022, being a By-law to authorize the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding with the Thames Road Elimville Community Park Committee (The Committee) coordinates and sustains a multi-use park so that it can continue offering a publicly-accessible green space for the people of South Huron and beyond.

  • Recommendation:

    That the South Huron Council gives first, second and third and final reading to By-Law #26-2022, being a by-law to manage and regulate election signs and campaign advertisements including third party advertising within the Municipality of South Huron.

  • Recommendation:

    That the South Huron Council gives first, second and third and final reading to By-Law #27-2022, being a By-law to name members to the Exeter Business Association Board of Management and set 2022 tax rates for properties in the Exeter Business Improvement Area. 

  • Recommendation:

    That the South Huron Council gives first, second and third and final reading to By-Law #28-2022, being a By-law to amend By-Law # 69-2018 of the Municipality of South Huron for lands described as Part Lot 10, Concession 6, Stephen Ward, Municipality of South Huron.

  • Recommendation:

    That the South Huron Council gives first, second and third and final reading to By-Law #29-2022, being a By-law to amend By-Law # 69-2018 of the Municipality of South Huron.

  • Recommendation:

    That the South Huron Council gives first, second and third and final reading to By-Law #30-2022, being a by-law to confirm matters addressed at the April 19, 2022 Council meeting.

  • Recommendation:

    That South Huron Council hereby adjourns at  p.m., to meet again on May 02, 2022 at 6:00 p.m. or at the Call of the Chair.
