    That South Huron Council approves the Agenda as presented.

  • Recommendation:

    That South Huron Council receives the delegation on the West Coast Tailgate Drive-In Concert as presented by Troy Hogg of Gables Holdings Inc. 

Audited Financial Statements attached to Item 8.4.1

  • Recommendation:

    That South Huron Council receives the review of the 2019 Audited Financial Statements as presented by Seebach & Company LLP

  • Recommendation:

    That South Huron Council adopts the minutes of the Special Council Meeting and Regular Council Meeting of August 10, 2020, as printed and circulated.

  • Recommendation:

    That the minutes of the following committees and/or boards be received as presented to Council: 

    • Upper Thames River Conservation Authority - June 23, 2020 UTRCA Board of Directors Meeting Minutes & August 25, 2020 Board Meeting Video
    • Committee of Adjustment - August 10, 2020 draft minutes
    • Mayor's Task Forces on Community and Economic Recovery - Work Plan Status Update - September 2020
  • Recommendation:

    That South Huron Council receive correspondence from the Climate Change Climate Change Adaptation Advisory Committee be received; and

    That South Huron Council authorize the following Committee of Council meetings to be held electronically:

    • Climate Change Adaptation Advisory Committee.
  • Recommendation:

    That South Huron Council receives the report of Stacey Jeffery, Climate Change Officer titled “South Huron’s Climate Change Adaptation Strategy (Final Report)”; and

    That South Huron adopts the adaptation strategy and the contents contained within; and

    That South Huron Council authorizes staff to begin the implementation of action items according to the timeline outlined in Appendix D: Action Plan of the adaptation strategy.

  • Recommendation:

    That South Huron Council receive the report from Don Giberson, Director of Infrastructure and Development and Shawn Young, Manager of Environmental Services RE: Tender Results for Watermain Replacements on Dashwood Road from Village of Dashwood to Babylon Line and Dashwood Road from Ausable Line to Airport Line, AND;

    That South Huron Council accept the tender received from the low bidder Birnam Excavating Inc and authorize award of a contract for Watermain Replacements on Dashwood Road from Village of Dashwood to Babylon Line and Dashwood Road from Ausable Line to Airport Line in the amount of $799,128.14 (including HST).

  • Recommendation:

    That South Huron Council receives the report from S. Becker, Director of Financial Services/Treasurer re: 2019 Audited Financial Statements;

    And that South Huron Council adopts the Audited Financial Statements as presented by Paul Seebach, Seebach & Company.

  • Recommendation:

    That South Huron Council receive the report re South Point Development – Road Naming By-law; and

    That Council approve the road names for the South Point Developments in Exeter be named Albert Street, Rowe Avenue, Lawson Drive and Jessica Avenue.

  • Recommendation:

    That South Huron Council receives report CL#25-2020 – Appoint Livestock Valuer and Line Fences Viewer; and

    That Council appoint Sarah Shapton, Carolyn Johns as Municipal Livestock Valuer for the Municipality of South Huron; and

    That Council appoint Sarah Shapton, Carolyn Johns and Deputy Mayor Jim Dietrich as Fence Viewers for the Municipality of South Huron.

  • Recommendation:

    That the memo of D. Best, Chief Administrative Officer dated September 8, 2020 regarding an update on the Exeter and District Swimming Pool Warranty Work be received.

  • Recommendation:

    That the South Huron Council gives first, second and third and final reading to By-Law #47-2020, being a by-law to authorize the assigning of names to highways to a Plan of Subdivision (South Point Subdivision 40T18002).

  • Recommendation:

    That the South Huron Council gives first, second and third and final reading to By-Law #48-2020, being a By-law to rescind By-Law #2-2017 to appoint Municipal Investigators/Livestock Valuers for the Municipality of South Huron.

  • Recommendation:

    That the South Huron Council gives first, second and third and final reading to By-Law #49-2020, being a By-law to appoint Fence Viewers for the Municipality of South Huron

  • Recommendation:

    That the South Huron Council gives first, second and third and final reading to By-Law #50-2020, being a By-law to Authorize Entering into an Agreement with South Huron Veterinary Clinic for the purpose of providing Pound Services for the Municipality of South Huron.

  • Recommendation:

    That the South Huron Council gives first, second and third and final reading to By-Law #51-2020, being a by-law to confirm matters addressed at the September 8, 2020 Council meeting.

  • Recommendation:

    That South Huron Council hereby adjourns at ______ p.m., to meet again on September 21, 2020 at 6:00 p.m. or at the Call of the Chair.
