  • Recommendation:

    That South Huron Council approves the Agenda as presented.

  • Recommendation:

    That South Huron Council adopts the minutes of the Public and Regular Council Meeting of March 21, 2022, as printed and circulated.

  • Recommendation:

    That the minutes of the following committees and/or boards be received as presented to Council:

     

    • Ausable Bayfield Conservation Authority - Thursday March 17, 2022 Board Agenda and Report 
    • Upper Thames River Conservation Authority - Tuesday March 22, 2022 Agenda Package 
  • Recommendation:

    That South Huron Council receives the report from Julia Roberts Deputy Treasurer and Sandy Becker General Manager of Financial Services/Treasurer re: 2021 Fourth Quarter Operating Variance Report for information.

  • Recommendation:

    That the report from Scott Currie, Manager of Strategic Initiatives, titled “2022 Thames Road Elimville Community Park MOU” be received; and,

    That Council approve the 2022 MOU with the Thames Road Elimville Community Park Committee as presented; and,

    That the necessary by-law be forwarded to Council for the required three readings.

  • Recommendation:

    That South Huron Council receives the report of Rebekah Msuya-Collison, General Manager of Corporate Services re Election Sign By-Law; and

    That the Election Sign By-Law be brought forward for adoption in the form attached to the report; and

    That Sign By-Law 73-2007 be amended to remove section 3.4 “Election Sign” and to repeal By-Law 75-2010.

  • Recommendation:

    That South Huron Council received the report of Rebekah Msuya-Collison, General Manager of Corporate Services re: Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner (IPC) Annual Reporting for information purposes.

  • Recommendation:

    That South Huron Council receive the report of Rebekah Msuya-Collison, General Manager of Corporate Services re Corporate Flag Policy; and

    That Council delegate the authority for approving or denying requests for Flag Raisings and Lowering that have been previously approved by Council to the CAO; and

    That Council approve the Corporate Flag Policy as presented in this report

  • Recommendation:

    That the memo of D. Best, Chief Administrative Officer dated April 4, 2022 regarding Bill 109, More Homes for Everyone Act, 2022 be received.

  • Recommendation:

    That South Huron Council proceeds in Closed Session at _______ for the purpose of addressing litigation or potential litigation matters in accordance with subsection 239(2)(c) of the Municipal Act. (By-Law Enforcement Matter)

Memo to By-Law

  • Recommendation:

    That the South Huron Council gives first, second and third and final reading to By-Law #21-2022, being a by-law to stop up, close and transfer part of the Road Allowance described as PT Ann St, PL 222 Stephen designated as PT 1, Plan 22R-1695; Municipality of South Huron (Part of PIN 41248-0033(LT)) to the owner of the abutting land (PIN 41248-0028) Shirley Rumball.

  • Recommendation:

    That the South Huron Council gives first, second and third and final reading to By-Law #22-2022, being a By-law to Appoint Members to the Various Boards, Committees and Authorities in the Municipality of South Huron.

  • Recommendation:

    That the South Huron Council gives first, second and third and final reading to By-Law #23-2022, being a by-law to confirm matters addressed at the April 4, 2022 Council meeting.

  • Recommendation:

    That South Huron Council hereby adjourns at ______ p.m., to meet again on April 19th, 2022 at 6:00 p.m. or at the Call of the Chair.
