Addition of Staff Reports Item: 7.3.2

  • Recommendation:

    That South Huron Council approves the Agenda as amended.

  • Recommendation:

    That South Huron Council adopts the minutes of the Regular Council Meeting of November 1, 2021, as printed and circulated.

  • Recommendation:

    That the minutes of the following committees and/or boards be received as presented to Council:

    • October 12, 2021 Police Services Board minutes;
    • October 21, 2021 Ausable Bayfield Conservation Authority Board of Directors Agenda and 2022 proposed Budget and Municipal Levies;
    • October 27, 2021 Committee of the Whole minutes 
  • Recommendation:

    That South Huron Council receives the draft minutes of the November 8, 2021 Committee of Adjustment meeting; and

    That Council appoint the following members to the 2022 Committee of Adjustment: 

  • Recommendation:

    That the draft minutes of the Exeter Business Improvement Area November 8, 2021 be received as presented to Council; and

    That South Huron Council support the Community Futures Huron's My Main Street Huron Accelerator program within Exeter and in support of Exeter businesses

  • Recommendation:

    That South Huron Council receive the report from Don Giberson, Director of Infrastructure and Development: Request for an Easement on Eva Street for a private sewer line; and

    That South Huron Council grants the request for an easement on Eva Street for a private sewer line subject to the parties entering into an acceptable Agreement; and

    That the necessary by-law be prepared for the required three readings.

  • Recommendation:

    That South Huron Council receive the report from Don Giberson, Director of Infrastructure and Development Re: Work Plan to evaluate the potential extension of the Grand Bend Trunk Sewer; and

    That South Huron Council approve the work plan to evaluate the potential extension of the Grand Bend Trunk Sewer.

  • Recommendation:

    That South Huron Council receives the report from J. Roberts, Deputy Treasurer and S. Becker, Director of Financial Services/Treasurer re: 2021 Capital Progress Report October 2021 for information.

  • Recommendation:

    That South Huron Council receives the report from Alex Wolfe, Deputy Clerk, and Rebekah Msuya-Collison, Director of Legislative Services re Cemetery Service Fees and Charges By-Law Update; and

    That the Municipality no longer offer preneed interment (opening/closing) sales; and

    That the proposed recommended changes to Cemetery Services Fees be approved effective January 1, 2022; and

    That the necessary by-law be forwarded to Council for the required three readings.

  • Recommendation:

    That the report of R. Msuya-Collison, Director of Legislative Services regarding the 2022 Municipal Election Update be received.

Resolution 416-2021 - Deferred from November 1, 2021 Meeting

  • Recommendation:

    That South Huron Council receive communication items not otherwise dealt with.

  • Recommendation:

    That the South Huron Council gives first, second and third and final reading to By-Law #80-2021, being a By-law to adopt a Debt Management Policy for the Municipality of South Huron.

  • Recommendation:

    That the South Huron Council gives first, second and third and final reading to By-Law #81-2021, being a by-law to confirm matters addressed at the November 15, 2021 Council meeting.

  • Recommendation:

    That South Huron Council hereby adjourns at ______ p.m., to meet again on December 6, 2021 at 6:00 p.m. or at the Call of the Chair.
